Would you like to know more about your antiques and collectibles? Take a course to learn how! Back by Popular Demand! The Art of Researching Your Antiques and Collectibles Have you ever wondered how antiques and collectibles experts determine their results? Learn how to research your art and decorative pieces the way the experts do! Find out which databases are most frequently used to research artist signatures, marks, auction results and historical information. At the first session, you are given a small take home quiz designed to familiarize you with the art of the search and the challenges it can present. Session two includes research into an item of your choice and how to determine if it has value. Discussion also includes when to hit the books for specific types of research and where print databases are located for additional information. Familiarity with a computer and the Internet is essential to get the most out of this course. This is not a hands-on computer class.
